Stopped in for a quick bite. Prices were fair. The burrito was solid and definitely worth it.

I grabbed a burrito here from the first bite, I had that feeling it wasn’t going to be my thing. Everything tasted bland, like the salsa barely had any kick and the rice was on the dry side. It all kind of blended together into this mushy mix without much flavor. Maybe others like it, but my gut reaction was just nope, not for me.

I still like the food at Illegal Pete’s, but the location I visited felt a little rough cleanliness-wise. The tables had crumbs and sticky spots, and the floor looked like it had been skipped for a while.

The bathroom wasn’t disgusting or anything, but it definitely didn’t feel fresh. It had that “technically checked, but not really cleaned” vibe, which is the kind of policy loophole that always drives me nuts.

The staff were friendly enough, so I don’t want to make it sound like the whole visit was bad. I just wish there was less box-checking and more actual cleaning, because the food is good but the dining area made the experience less enjoyable

I was really happy with the size of the burrito, especially for the price. It was big, filling, and made for a solid lunch. I would’ve loved just a little more meat, but overall I’m grateful for such a satisfying meal at a good value.

The staff was super nice and patient with me while I was figuring out my order. It was busy with the lunch rush, but I still felt welcomed right away. I’d definitely go back.

It was just really slow. I kept waiting and checking the time, and even the little things seemed to take forever. Frustrating overall.

Illegal Pete’s has a solid laid-back vibe. Casual, fun, good for grabbing food with friends or just hanging a bit. Music was good, staff seemed relaxed. It can get kinda loud, but overall I liked the feel.

Everything I ordered was in the bag this time — which was nice. They did forget one sauce, but honestly... not a huge deal. Overall, still good.
